Newchurch Methodist is a community of
Christians who aim to provide for the wider community and praise
God as a group of Christians. The Church is situated at the top
of Turnpike in Newchurch (see map). The building has disabled
access to the church with a ramp into the building and the
chapel itself is downstairs. The church has a coffee lounge,
that has recently been renovated.
We hope to cater for all ages. The church
has a playpen, children's toys and a Sunday School for the
younger children. We also have a hearing aid loop for the hard
of hearing and the hymn books are available in large type, as
well as the PowerPoint and projector that we have installed,
with relatively large writing. The chapel has a modern feel,
with comfortable seating. Upstairs there is also a large hall in
which events are regularly held. The church also boasts
Uniformed organisations, such as the Rainbows, Brownies and
Guides. There was previously a Beavers, Cubs and Scouts section
until depleted numbers led to the closure of these
organisations.
This website has been set up by Carl Andrew
and other members of the church and is maintained on a monthly
basis by members of the church. All care is taken to ensure that
all information in this site is up to date and factual. |
